NGC 457 -- The Owl Cluster, and open cluster in Cassiopeia. Processed in February 2006 in Maxim DL and Photoshop. Gradients were removed with Russ Croman's [url=http://www.rc-astro.com/resources/GradientXTerminator/index.html]Gradient Xterminator[/url]. I also applied Don Wade's [url=http://www.waid-observatory.com/article-star-color.html]star color enhancement techniques[/url]. The original exposures were too short, so the read noise was a factor in the final images.
